Private Blogging

A lot of people have suggested to me via comments or personal e-mails that I still continue writing about what's going on, but not posting anything for the time being.  I wanted to let you know that I have been doing just that.  Hopefully one day all those moments can be shared in public again.  My continued apologies that my blog, in the meanwhile, is so sparse.

  1. Don't worry about the lack of blogs. You have your hands full as it is. Continuing to pray for all of you throughout the day. (St. Sylvester is my new friend ;-) Hoping every day that you will have good news to share.

  2. I'm so glad you're able to write privately. For those of us who write from the depths of our souls, it becomes and important part of processing a lot of the deeper things going on in our lives.

  3. I'm glad you have an outlet. In the meantime, I've been reading all your earlier posts and keep praying for your sweet boy.

  4. I'm also glad your doing this just so you have a record of your thoughts and feelings from this time. Continued prayers for Sly.

  6. I am still praying for your son. I hope all is going well. Remember, God promises a safe landing, not a calm passage. If God brings us to it, he will bring us through it.

  8. First of all, my son, Sam, the third of my 4 children, was born at 28 weeks gestation. He spent 61 days in the NICU. He is now in his 4th year at St. Charles Seminary and has been praying along with us for Sly. In one of his classes, there is a saint's name on the board at the beginning of class. Yesterday it was ST. SYLVESTER! Needless to say, Sam thought of Sly and offered extra prayers for him. He asked me to pass this message along to you. We hope it strengthens and comforts you and that Sly is healing. Sam wanted you to know that his brother seminarians are also praying.

  10. Christine you don't know me as I was not a reader of your blog until Sly's accident. I'm a fellow young Catholic Mom, and I'm just praying and praying for you. Your family is on my mind and heart everyday. The Novena to Saint Sylvester was beautiful.

  12. Prayers from someone who did not believe, but after my near death illness, I felt the power of prayer. It is truly a miracle. I pray for your son.
